Vitalik Buterin is a Russian-Canadian programmer and writer primarily known as the co-founder of Ethereum, a decentralized blockchain platform that enables smart contracts.
Born in 1994, he showed an early interest in mathematics and programming.
He co-founded Ethereum in 2013, which has since become a foundational technology in the blockchain space.
